Labor Day Weekend

We've been so busy this summer with the move and adjusting to Tyler's new job, getting settled in and, well, just trying to keep up with Jordy and Harrison! We still have a LOT of little projects to do around the house (we are trying to beat our "record" from our move to Madison and get pictures up before we've been living here a year-- we'll see though...)
however,
we are also still trying to enjoy some of the summer and nice weather as well. (You know, before life becomes any more chaotic once little "Steve" comes :)  ) **Tyler has been a good sport being willing to spend his college football Saturdays staying busy with us--he just makes sure to record the BYU games...no matter how frustrating they continue to be...

SO- we started the month going to the Milwaukee Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Hyatt!
Harry has been trying to imitate animal sounds recently-- his favorite by far is the elephant (half spit/half roar :) so we were excited to see his reaction to all the animals!

(Except I did feel right at home with the penguins with how I was waddling around!!)

Then after the zoo we tried sneaking in a quick BBQ, but the weather didn't exactly cooperate-Tyler was able to finish grilling the brats and hot dogs right as it started to rain. We moved our baby grill right outside our sliding doors because, yes, we still HAD to roast marshmallows for our s'mores! It actually worked very well! :) 

Then on Labor Day, we took it easy (Harry and Tyler enjoyed a LONG nap time together) and Jordy and I made some homemade raspberry ice-cream together. Even though it wasn't really that warm or sunny that day, the boys still wanted to play in the pool a little with Tyler, and he was a good sport to stand there while they splashed him (and I was comfy in the hammock...warm and dry!)

Awww-- too bad they aren't always this loving towards each other.
