Pre-Birthday Celebration!

Tyler's family wanted to have a little party to celebrate Jordy's birthday before we left Idaho- which was really nice of them considering they've had their share of first-birthday-parties already between all the nieces and nephews!

Jordy definitely gets a lot of attention from all of his aunts and uncles and cousins! He's one lucky boy!!!
One of Jordy's aunts and uncles thought it would be funny to give him a Steeler's hat- knowing we are Packer's fans. Hmmm...hopefully we can trade it in! :)
He did look cute though!

Jordy had a carrot cake (Tyler thought it would get him excited for the sweeter cake on his birthday)
Not so sure what to think...

"Ok, Ok...I'll try it..."
"Mmmm...that's pretty tasty"
"Oh! This is good!"
He didn't get real messy, but he did eat almost all of his piece of cake!

And then, the Christmas Celebrations Continue...

We only took a couple presents for Jordy to open on Christmas in Idaho, the rest we left here (we asked Santa to split his delivery! :)
SO- Jordy opened up something on Christmas Eve, Christmas, on Sunday before his birthday, the Monday we got back and then his birthday was on Tuesday and then he still had one left over for the day after his birthday-- so I'm afraid he's thinking that everyday he gets to rip something! (Just when we were making progress with him not bee-lining it for our magazines that are out! Oh well...)

SO- here are a few more pictures of Jordy unwrapping stuff! (And yes- just as most babies...he seemed to enjoy the box/packaging/wrapping more than the actual present!)

Continuing the tradition from my parents- Jordy got a lot of books from us for Christmas! :)
Look how excited he is about it too!

It's the most I've seen him entertained and sitting in one place for awhile! :) Thank you to the grandmas and grandpas and aunt(s)/uncles and cousins for the generous gifts! Jordy is one spoiled little boy! He has definitely been our best Christmas present throughout this last year!
